Does God still heal? 

One of the most common questions believers ask is: Does God still heal today?

When we read the Gospels, we see Jesus healing the blind, the lame, and the sick. Yet many faithful Christians still struggle with illness, chronic pain, grief, and unanswered prayers. How do we reconcile these realities?

The answer found in Scripture is both comforting and challenging:

Yes, God still heals—but He does not always heal in the way, timing, or manner we expect.

The stories of the paralytic in Luke 5 and Paul’s thorn in the flesh in 2 Corinthians 12 reveal two important truths: God has the power to heal physically, and God is still at work when healing doesn’t come.
