God’s Word isn’t simply information for Christians to know; it is one of the primary ways God forms and strengthens His people in Christ. Life’s storms will still come, and sometimes they will shake us deeply. But our security doesn’t rest in our emotions, circumstances, finances, relationships, or even the strength of our own obedience. Our foundation is Jesus Christ. Through His Word, the Holy Spirit continually builds us upon that Rock so that when the storms come, we may shake—but by God’s grace, we will stand.
